Successful personal branding can be vital for your business, people buy from people after all! This is Emma, the founder of EGVA. Find out how we worked together to achieve a successful personal branding photoshoot, and see some of her fabulous images.

Who is Emma ‘the brand’?

Emma has over 14 years of experience as an executive-level PA. Add to that a little Events Management, Fashion Merchandising, a sprinkle of time as a Chef and you’ve got the perfect recipe for one awesome Mama. Emma’s mission is to use all her experience to help small businesses achieve their dreams. Her extensive knowledge base means she can organise everything you need, from your email and calendar to a private jet!

Continuing the Personal branding journey

Emma launched her business in 2018 and had already seen great success. Many of her clients came to her through word of mouth and personal recommendation, but now Emma was ready to grow her business. She came to me looking for photos that would reflect her brand ethos and allow her clients and potential clients to see the person behind the brand. We both knew we needed to create a platform for Emma to shine, allowing her to show how she stands out from other VA’s.

Creating a successful personal branding photo shoot

Emma’s whole shoot was inspired by her infectious personality and gorgeous brand colours. We really thought about the perfect location and styling so that we could truly represent what Emma is all about.

Using my personal branding workbook, Emma identified her core values as being:

  • Invaluable
  • Integrity
  • Approachability
  • Friendliness
  • Family-centred

With these in mind, Emma and I set out to capture the very essence of her personal brand. So we based our focus on her beautiful brand colours, burnt orange, mustard yellow and denim blue. And we located the perfect backdrop in Boston Tea Party in Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding area outside with a lovely walk down the river. Emma selected a brilliant wardrobe for the shoot and we were able to source stationary and balloons all in her brand colours!

Capturing the true essence of a successful personal brand

Thanks to the time we had invested in the preparation of the 3-hour personal branding shoot Emma had chosen, she was able to arrive bursting with confidence! Her professionalism, confidence and fun-loving outlook are there for all to see, she really was so great to work with. By introducing the new team member in the images too, they convey the strong teamwork ethic they share and it allows her clients and prospective clients to get a feel for everyone who is working behind the scenes in the business.

Ready to relaunch

The result of all this hard work was 120 amazing photos to re-launch Emma’s website as well as providing content for her social channels and hardcopy advertising material. Each and every one of them illustrating her brand message perfectly.

Confidence shows

The overall outcome was just brilliant. That’s why I am so committed to the process I follow with my personal branding clients. And it’s because we take the time to get to know one another, we can work as a team, to plan and achieve the very best personal branding photoshoot.

I’m pretty confident that Emma was pleased too, click below to listen to her testimonial.
