Meet Emily, the super successful, e-commerce queen who is now launching her own bespoke business coaching brand, ‘She is Emily‘. With decades of experience in the business world, Emily is well versed in the Power of Personal Branding. Read on to see how we worked together to achieve truly impactful images for her new venture.

Who is Emily ‘the brand’?

After completing her Bachelor’s degree, Emily found herself in a corporate job at the age of 22. Despite having worked so hard to get where she was, she instinctively knew this was NOT what she wanted to do. S0, she made a promise to herself right then, she wouldn’t continue working for someone else from within the confines of a cubicle. Emily would learn to make money online, from home and on her own time. She wanted to create a successful income and provide herself with far more freedom in her work/life balance. That’s exactly what she did! She built not 1 but 3 e-commerce stores, each achieving 7 figure incomes! But Emily doesn’t want to stop there, now she wants to share her experience and knowledge with other women looking to start their own super successful businesses. So ‘She is Emily’ was born!

Harnessing the power of personal branding

Emily was already really good at creating her own images for her social media but knew she needed a professional personal branding shoot to really illustrate the values of her new business brand. And, knowing how important this decision was, Emily wanted to invest her money in the right place. So she made sure she did proper research when she was choosing a photographer for this project. She decided to work with me when she saw the great diversity I had achieved with previous clients and believed that together we could make both her work ethic and her fun-loving personality shine as brightly as her smile!

The power in preparing for your personal branding photo shoot

Emily knew that her personal branding shoot should really reflect who she is and what she believes in. She wanted simple, authentic images. With a focus on pinks, whites and greys, Emily did her own makeup and chose 5 different outfits to wear. Having opted for the 3-hour package, we had plenty of time to use different locations around her home, without any feeling of being rushed.

During our chats prior to the shoot, it was clear to me that Emily has a great sense of humour, she is down to earth and totally self made. She really wants to help other women achieve success and become their own boss. Using my personal branding workbook, Emily also identified her core business values as being:

  • Integrity
  • Profitability
  • Reliability
  • Honesty
  • Scaleability
  • Passion
